Hacking Issues 4/18/15
#1
Traces that are complete by a hacker in an account don't show up when accessing that account the next time you visit it.
You can attempt to trace again, and even if you're successful, nothing comes up.

Repro:
Trace who tampered with Jeff's entry in GNB's log. Follow it. Come back to GNB's log. Trace button will be relit and there's no data about who you just traced. Try to trace again.

"Security settings stengthened" - small misspelling.

Lowering security settings doesn't appear to work - I tried to force Thadis' security settings down (they had only been raised once) and I couldn't get it to normal after successfully lowering it once.

If I guess correctly, there was a little banner at the top that said something like, "Network Error.  Please try again. If the problem persists, please report it to your local Technomancer."  Some of the old hacking attempts weren't being recorded properly, and they were causing the function that looks at past traces to fail.  I just deleted all those old logs, so it should work now.

Fixed, thanks.  This will probably go out later this week.

All hacking attempts are somewhat random, and raising and lowering security is no different.  You get some idea of how strong the protections are on an account by the text there, but that doesn't give you all the information.  On average, if a hacker raises security and an equally skilled hacker lowers it, you will return to normal, but that isn't guaranteed.  Sometimes, a hacker just has a bad day or makes a stupid mistake.  Sometimes, a hacker gets lucky.  Additionally, those security hacks are now half as effective as they used to be, so if it were raised before this recent change, it'd likely take 2 weakenings now to counteract it.
