I am thinking of a pair of these fire fighter multi tools for melee weapons. Would the holes in the axe head be an issue?

I assume you mean foam versions of them and not the actual multi-tools. *chuckles* I personally don't see an issue, but our esteemed safety staff should be the ones to chime in.

As long as they are larp safe and pass the safety test every weapon goes through I dont see the hole being too much of an issue. The one caveat would be a mild concern that it could get caught on something and rip making the weapon unsafe should that occur.
Essentailly, if you have a larp weapon of that, the hole does not matter as long as it passes the safety test.
