Heavy Gunner

Heavy gunner does not require Firearms. Is this intended?
The description for heavy gunner says it requires "large guns" Does this mean it can't be used with smaller guns? How large is the requirement?

A Jolt?
A Stryfe?
A Vulcan?

If there is a length requirement, what if I just throw a barrel and stock onto a blaster?

Requirement: Firearms rank 2+. Must use be using a “rifle” style firearm that require two hands to wield effectively or larger.
