Here are some guidelines for getting any questions you might have answered swiftly. We ask that our players follow this policy and refrain from contacting our staff members at their personal emails, Facebook accounts, etc:

Questions About the Game

 If you have a general question about the game, costuming, props, CGs, SICs, etc, it should be asked first on the forums or Facebook page. The community can be a great resource for information.

  • If you have a general question but would rather ask it in private, please contact the Community Admin.
  • If you have a question specific to a CG or SIC, please contact the appropriate member of plot as per the list below.
  • If you would like assistance fitting a new character into the Spite world, please contact the Community Admin.
  • If you have a rules question, post it to the forum under the Rules Questions or Rules Discussion sections. If you would rather ask it privately, please contact the Community Admin.
  • If you have questions regarding the website, forums, or other technical issues, post it to the Technical questions and suggestions forum. If you would rather ask it privately, please contact our technomancers.
  • If you have questions about registration, hive points, character build, and other logistical issues, please contact our logistics team.
  • Don’t know who to email? Ask our Community Admin.

Note: if you want to be involved with developing story or plots, or have ideas for NPCs you would like to play, you should consider applying to join Hive, our NPC guild. We are not currently taking plot submissions from players.

 

When sending a message to staff, for . . .

  • Messages sent more than 2 months before an event: Please allow up to 5 days for a response to your message. The response may be “We need to discuss that at our next plot meeting, we’ll get back to you”, but there will be a response. If it has been more than 5 days, please send a follow-up email, as we may have missed it. If there isn’t an event currently scheduled, any correspondence would fall under this category.
  • Messages sent less than 2 months before an event: Please allow up to 2 days for a response to your message. If it has been more than 2 days, please send a follow-up email, as we may have missed it.
  • Messages sent within 7 days before an event:At this point staff is working hard to get ready for the event. Messages will be responded to as quickly as possible but response may be deferred until after the upcoming game if they are determined not to be vital to be addressed before the event.
